How to estimate FBA fees before you have an ASIN
We have not tested these tools hands-on; this page is built from each vendor's own pricing and feature pages plus our tool listings. Links on this page are plain (non-affiliate) links. Always confirm prices on the vendor site.
Steps
- Open the public FBA Revenue Calculator (no seller account needed).
- Choose "Define product" and enter packaged dimensions and weight from your supplier's carton spec.
- Pick the category (it sets the referral fee) and your planned price.
- Add cost of goods, inbound shipping and expected monthly units/storage.
- Add long-term storage, returns and removals under Miscellaneous cost.
Biggest error source: packaged dimensions. A few millimetres can move a product into a larger size tier.
The options
| Tool | Price (checked 2026-10-14) | Best for | The catch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Amazon FBA Revenue Calculator | Free source | Fee estimates for unlisted products via "Define product" | Leaves out long-term storage, removals and returns |
| Spreadsheet + Amazon fee pages | Free | Comparing many sourcing options at once | You must keep fee tables current yourself |
Prices read from each vendor's own pricing page on 2026-10-14 (Oct 14, 2026). "Not verified" means we could not confirm a price on the vendor page that day.
FAQ
Do I need a Seller Central account?
No. Amazon says there is a public version of the calculator; it is also inside Seller Central.
Why do my estimates differ from real fees later?
Usually the size tier: Amazon measures the packaged product, and fees change over time.
