How to estimate an Amazon seller's total sales
We have not tested these tools hands-on; this page is built from each vendor's own pricing and feature pages plus our tool listings. Links on this page are plain (non-affiliate) links. Always confirm prices on the vendor site.
The manual method
- Open the seller's storefront and list their ASINs.
- Estimate monthly units for the top ASINs with any product sales estimator.
- Multiply by price and sum. Shared listings: the seller only gets part of the sales when others win the Buy Box.
- Treat the total as a range, not a number.
The options
| Tool | Price (checked 2026-10-14) | Best for | The catch |
|---|---|---|---|
| SmartScout | Basic $49 · Essentials $119 · Business $299 per mo (yearly from $29/mo) source | Seller and brand mapping, wholesale | Tier that unlocks seller-level data not verified |
| Jungle Scout | Starter $49/mo ($29 yearly) for product estimates; Cobalt custom for brand/market views source | Product-level estimates you sum yourself | Competitive landscape on Brand Owner or Cobalt only |
| Keepa | Not verified — see vendor | Sales-rank history to sanity-check estimates | Price not verified today |
| Helium 10 | Platinum $129/mo ($99 yearly) source | Product research you sum yourself | No seller-total view verified |
Prices read from each vendor's own pricing page on 2026-10-14 (Oct 14, 2026). "Not verified" means we could not confirm a price on the vendor page that day.
FAQ
How accurate are seller sales estimates?
Not very at the seller level: errors on each ASIN add up, and estimators can't see Buy Box sharing, off-Amazon sales or returns. Use them to compare sellers, not to value a business.
Is there a free seller-sales estimator?
We found none we could verify. The storefront + product-estimate method is free if you already have a product estimator.
